一、課程目標Course objectives

本課程透過一系列文學文本與批評性著作的選讀，探討二十世紀法國重要女性作家與女性主義思想。課程以主題式架構，檢視女性身份、慾望、語言與作者性如何在不同歷史與美學脈絡中被再現與質疑。課程首先從西蒙．德．波娃與柯萊特出發，追溯女性經驗與心理內在性的早期表述。接著轉向伊蓮．西蘇與弗朗索瓦絲．薩岡，分析戰後文學中性別表演、性慾與敘事聲音的變化。中段課程聚焦於安妮．勒克萊爾與安妮．艾諾的書寫實踐，強調女性自我再現的書寫形式，並突顯當代文學中自傳書寫與女性生命建構。最後單元引入瑪格麗特．尤瑟納爾的短篇小說，透過歷史想像與跨文化重寫，展現女性書寫如何超越寫實主義與自傳傳統，拓展女性文學表達的可能性。課程將結合細讀、課堂討論與電影改編分析，培養學生的文學詮釋能力，並引導其參與現代法國女性書寫中的重要辯論。
This course explores major twentieth-century French women writers and feminist thought through a selection of literary texts and critical writings. Organized thematically, it examines how female identity, desire, language, and authorship are represented and questioned across different historical and aesthetic contexts. Beginning with Simone de Beauvoir and Colette, the course traces early articulations of women’s lived experience and psychological interiority. It then turns to Hélène Cixous and Françoise Sagan to explore gender performance, sexuality, and narrative voice in postwar literature. The middle section focuses on writing as a form of female self-representation through Annie Leclerc and Annie Ernaux, highlighting autobiography and the construction of women’s lives in contemporary literature. The final unit features Marguerite Yourcenar’s short fiction, introducing historical imagination and cross-cultural rewriting as an expansion of women’s literary expression beyond realism and autobiography. Through close reading, discussion, and film adaptation analysis, students will develop critical skills in literary interpretation while engaging with key debates in modern French feminist writing.
