一、課程目標Course objectives

1. 增進對全球化現象，以及全球經濟結構、勞動市場與跨國遷移發展之關係的了解。
  Advance the understanding of globalization as well as the relationship of global economy and labor market and international migration.  

2. 經由全球性的照顧危機與失能來探討女性跨國遷移的發展，了解女性及其跨國遷移如何在全球化結構中被形塑與發展。
  Explore the development and dynamics of women cross-border migration in the global crisis of care and understand how international female migrants and their lives are shaped and structured by the globalized marketplace. 

3. 藉由對跨國勞動力接收與輸出國的相關政策探討，了解個體遷移決定與生命經驗實際上受國家發展政策的特定價值之驅動與限制，以及國家政策對不同性別國際遷移的形塑與影響。 
  Examine the value-driven migration policies of both sending and receiving countries in order to understand the impacts of these state polices on the lived experiences of individual migrants as well as on the distinct development of male and female migrant workers. 

4. 藉由女性在照顧產業的國際產業鏈中的工作與生命經驗的探討，認知跨國遷移對女性移民工自身、家庭與國家社會皆有深遠的影響與改變。
  Examine the varied experiences of women migrants in their cross-border journeys associated with caregiving work and, further, recognize significant changes have made to individual migrants, their families as well as the societies through international migration.
