三、授課方式Teaching approach
This course provides students with a comprehensive understanding of contemporary business issues, global economic developments, technological innovation, geopolitical dynamics, and emerging trends affecting international business environments. Through the analysis of real-world business events, international news reports, corporate strategies, government policies, and industry transformations, students will develop critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and decision-making capabilities. The course adopts a case-based and discussion-oriented approach. Students will utilize current news sources, business journals, corporate reports, YouTube business channels, and AI-assisted analytical tools to examine ongoing developments in the global marketplace. Special emphasis will be placed on artificial intelligence, digital transformation, sustainability, international trade, supply chain restructuring, geopolitical risks, and emerging business opportunities. Teaching Methodology Current business news is not treated as daily information, but as a gateway to strategic thinking and managerial decision-making. Through authentic business news and real-world business cases, students learn to interpret complex business issues, evaluate managerial challenges, and develop evidence-based solutions from a global perspective. This course adopts a three-stage learning methodology that guides students from understanding current business events, to strategic analysis, and finally to managerial communication. Learning Resources The course draws upon authentic and up-to-date business news and analysis from internationally recognized media sources, including “Reuters” and “Bloomberg Originals.” These resources provide students with direct exposure to current global business issues and serve as the foundation for classroom discussion, strategic analysis, and managerial decision-making. Course Philosophy This course emphasizes critical thinking, strategic analysis, evidence-based decision-making, executive communication, and active participation. Rather than focusing solely on business knowledge, students are expected to interpret current business events, evaluate managerial challenges, and develop practical solutions from a global business perspective. By integrating authentic business news with collaborative discussion and case-based learning, the course prepares students to become informed, analytical, and globally minded business professionals.
