一、課程目標Course objectives

This course aims to develop graduate students’ advanced understanding of how financial markets, investment decisions, and capital allocation mechanisms respond to environmental and sustainability challenges. The course emphasizes financial and economic theory, empirical research, and quantitative analysis to examine the effects of climate risk, ESG information, and environmental policies on asset pricing, firm valuation, cost of capital, and portfolio performance. Students will be trained to critically evaluate frontier research, analyze green financial instruments, and design independent research in green finance and sustainable investment.
