一、課程目標Course objectives

Southeast Asia is becoming a fast growing and enormously fantastic area. Yet, due to diverse geographic and populous scale, languages, ethnicities, religions, economies, ecosystems and political systems in this region are insufficiently studies. This course is committed to match the common desire to develop intellectual understanding of Southeast Asia. In general, this curriculum and pedagogical approach is issue-based and critical-oriented. Students enrolled in this course are expected to familiarize the uneven experiences and accompanied development in Southeast Asia.

三、授課方式Teaching approach

1 修課同學請務必課前預習和課後複習，以免無法理解所學，徒然浪費時間。
2 講授為主，但課堂提問、討論等為重要加分選項。
3 分組報告。
4 視進度安排電影討論與／或專題演講。
