一、課程目標Course objectives

By the end of the academic year, you should be able to:
Explain the current theory underlying the basic building blocks of a macroeconomic model – consumption, investment, money demand, money supply, and aggregate supply;
Compare and contrast the major schools of macroeconomic thought – Keynesianism, monetarism, the New Classical school, and the New Keynesian school;
Describe the implications for the macroeconomic performance of international trade and international financial transactions in the open economy.

The final grades are based on a possible 250 points:
The mid-term exam will be worth 100 points.
The final exam will be cumulative and worth 100 points.
Homework, tests, and class participation will be worth 50 points.
