一、課程目標Course objectives

一、課程目標Course objectives:
1)提供學生有關化學反應及其原理的整合性知識，以具備運用科學知識的能力。
2)使學生瞭解化學上經常使用的專有名詞，以具備認識時事議題，瞭解化學對環境、社會及全球的影響，並培養持續學習的習慣與能力。
3) 理解社會責任以及專業倫理道德，以奠定日後從事醫學相關工作之基礎。
Course Objectives
To provide students with integrated knowledge of chemical reactions and their underlying principles, enabling them to apply scientific knowledge effectively.
To familiarize students with commonly used chemical terminology, helping them understand current issues, recognize the impacts of chemistry on the environment, society, and the global community, and develop the habit and ability of lifelong learning.
To foster an understanding of social responsibility and professional ethics, thereby establishing a solid foundation for future careers in medicine and healthcare-related fields.

三、授課方式Teaching approach

以投影片授課及討論為主，佐以 書寫、課程錄影及 示範實驗。
如改採線上遠距教學時，將以Moodle BBB教學系統實施線上教學，
課程訊息公告及師生聯繫，以透過Moodle課程主頁與個人電子郵件email為主。
Teaching Methods

The course will primarily be conducted through lectures and classroom discussions using presentation slides, supplemented by written exercises, recorded instructional materials, and demonstration experiments.

If remote teaching becomes necessary, online instruction will be delivered through the Moodle BigBlueButton (BBB) learning platform.

Course announcements and communications between the instructor and students will primarily be conducted through the Moodle course webpage and individual email accounts.

四、評量方式Grading criteria:

1) 期中考:			30%
2) 期末考:                       30%
3) 學期態度(隨堂小考、課後作業、出席):        40%
4) 自主學習表現加分(0~3) 及 課程筆記加分 (0~2) ，參加校內圖書館115-1"大家來找查"資料講習、115-1教學發展暨學習輔導中心舉辦的教師知能增進活動或115-1計算機中心舉辦的知能增進活動(0-3)，至多加分三場。

(1) Midterm Exam: 30%
(2) Final Exam: 30%
(3) Participation:  (including pop quiz, homework, and attendance): 40%
(4) Bonus Points:
Self-Directed Learning Activities: up to 3 bonus points
Course Notes: up to 2 bonus points

Students may earn up to 3 bonus points by participating in the following university-sponsored learning activities during Semester 115-1:
a) "大家來找查"資料講習 workshop organized by the The NCNU Library 
b) Professional development activities organized by the Center for Teaching and Learning Development
c)  AI-related educational and training activities organized by the NCNU Computer Center
