一、課程目標Course objectives

一、課程目標 Course objectives:主要介紹現代英文科技期刊論文的寫作風格、體例與架構，以及與研究實務之間的聯繫。本課程為大學部大二學生選修課，以幫助銜接升上大三需要修習必修之專題研究課程。可奠定日後學生進入研究所或出國深造的英文論文寫作的基礎。
The course goal is to introduce the style, the examples, and the layout of the academic journal article of science and technology in modern English, as well as the connection with the research practice. The content of course is designed as a optional class for the sophomore students of the department, which will take the requested courses entitled as “Research Project (I) & (II)” involving extensively reading journal articles in English. The present course can establish the reading and writing abilities of course-taking students for their years in the graduate school or the oversea advance study in future.
