一、課程目標Course objectives

課程目標設定的情境為：假設(在完美的狀態下，)每位修課學員修習本課的動機為：已經決定要返鄉創某一種業，但接下來將會面臨生產、行銷、人力、財務、研發等問題。就財務觀點，「相關投資計畫的評估與融資來源如何選擇？」為本課程討論的核心。比如，暨大畢業後，我想繼續留在桃米坑過慢活生活，我真的應該在桃米坑買一塊地，蓋出一間風格民宿來經營，以實踐自我的生活理念嗎？如果真的要如此作，最重要的錢從哪裡來？除了部分可透過過去打工累積的錢、爸媽的初期贊助以外，還可能有哪些青創貸款等選擇？上述實務財務面問題即本課程嘗試回答提供解決方案。
又微型金融為近年流行企業社會責任(CSR並衍生為USR)概念下的新興融資想法，創業與融資的解決亦非一人之力所能完成，本課程擬在強化學員相關融資知識後，進一步透過(團體分組)專案實作報告的設計，培養團隊合作的精神與實踐的能力等。核心能力設計為「金融機構經營與分析能力、投資管理與分析能力」等，相關核心能力之具體說明如下：

(一)金融機構經營與分析能力
課程名稱的第2個關鍵字「融資創新」，此能力係配合學生在修習金融機構管理等相關課程，其中有關「金融中介、反中介、再中介的趨勢：有無第3種新興融資方式(比如沒有任何中介機構，如群眾募資)」，以及「金融的企業社會責任：普慧與微型金融等趨勢」等主題的延伸，故此部分可提升學生整合金融機構之金融創新等新興議題於實務應用之能力。

(二)投資管理與分析能力
課程名稱的第1個關鍵字「微型創業」，此能力係上接財金系「中小企業財務管理、公司理財(多適用大規模公司的專案開發等)」，從青年返鄉創業的觀點來看，其多屬(比傳統中小型企業更縮小規模的)微型企業的類型，此部分將可提升學生整合公司理財等實質投資管理與分析能力於實務之應用。

本課程原係由財金系支援本校於2016年取得教育部鼓勵青年返鄉創業之專業(第2階段)計畫下，R立方學程所開設之「微型融資與金融創新」適度調整而成。當時本課程配合「暨大通識 (甚或管院或本系) 教育目標」之「人文關懷、獨立思考與創新能力」等，故強調融資之一用於文青創業的面向，透過授課內容等活動設計可以强化學生人文關懷與藝術的氣質。此外，「青年返鄉創業的錢從哪裡來？」該問題，本課程可提供多元創新管道的融資思考，並訓練學員如何從中選擇合適者。據此整體來說，本課程並無特定專一使用之書籍，建議曾修習過「金融機構管理」課程之同學，善用該課程有關「金融業的新興課題：金融科技、去中介的群眾募資、企業社會責任」等，預讀基礎概念後，課程內容設計將適度補充相關青創的個案與融資方案(如鼓勵青創貸款方案等)。

三、授課方式Teaching approach

課程解答上述(課程目標之舉例)問題的實踐步驟包括：
(1)老師對於投資與融資計畫的專業基礎知識的傳達，此透過課堂的講授完成。
(2)期中學員創業的投資與融資計畫之試擬與期末的個案報告。原始最佳的設計想法是：每組學員透過群眾募資平台，販賣自己的計畫案，該部分分數即由融資成果來決定(此部分視上課情況調整)。
據此，本選修課程以老師講授、同學報告為主。授課方式的核心概念是：理論與實務的結合，此將於第1次上課解說。

四、評量方式Grading criteria:

採多元評量，大致包含以下數項： 
1.個人（或以2-3人為分組的）報告：佔70％(含期中初稿與期末的修正成果等)。
2.上課參與表現等，佔30％。

第1-16周的實體課程教學+彈性教學:數位學習或整體觀的複習等
說明：教師將視修課者組成，以及第一次上課學員對Q1問題的想法，適度調配講次的組成與內容。比如，學員中若有對NPO(非營利組織的創業，此有別傳統講究以財務利益極大化之公司組織之創業)有想法者，將增加相關個案的討論

Class policy (Academic Honesty and Classroom Code of Conduct)
請特別注意：課程第1次上課的說明與規範。一般性規範如下：
1.預習與複習
To make most effective use of our time together, it is essential that you read all assigned materials prior to our class meeting.  I will often assign homework assignments to be due before we have finished discussing a topic.  This is to help you work ahead and explore the topic on your own so that class time can be used to clarify and expand on the ideas and techniques presented in the text.  Remember, you cannot expect to learn very much or perform well in the class if you do not come to class prepared and spend substantial out of class time studying on your own.  
In addition to the assigned homework, you should expect to spend 5-10 hours each week outside of class studying and working practice problems.  If you do, your performance on the exams should earn you the grade you desire.  If you don't keep current with the assignments and do extra problems on your own, it is unlikely you will do well on the exams.  
2. 注意公告，按時繳交指定的作業，不接受遲交的作業
Homework assignments are typically due before we have discussed the covered material in class.  These assignments closely match the examples in the text, so if you complete the assigned reading, the homework assignments should be managible. In any event, homework assignments are graded based on effort, not correct answers (notice that partial solutions have been posted to help you check your work). Thus, every student show be able to earn the full extra credit available.  
3. 作業與考試請遵守學術倫理與道德的規範(Plagiarism and Academic Honesty)
It should not come as a surprise to you that I expect each of you to do your own work.  I will prosecute violations of academic honesty vigorously.  Anyone caught cheating or turning in work that is not his or her own will be subject to punishment ranging from a zero on the exam/assignment to failing the course to expulsion from the University.  Expect a severe punishment if I catch you cheating in the any exam or class.

I encourage you to contact me at any time if you have questions or concerns about any aspect of this course.  I am also happy to answer questions about homework assignments as well, although you should first attempt to resolve any questions through discussions with your classmates.  
I do not hold regular “office hours,” as such.  Instead, you may feel free to stop by my office any time.  Although I do not promise that I will be able to speak with you immediately, I am generally able to do so.  In any event, your best bet is to call first and make an appointment; that way, you can be certain I’ll be available and able to devote my full attention to you.
The best way to reach me, however, is via e-mail (cawang@ncnu.edu.tw).  In addition, I will often conduct class correspondence using your official NCNU e-mail addresses. You can do this on NCNU-student-web, where I also encourage you to update your official phone listing so that I can reach by phone if necessary.
I will usually respond to my e-mail immediately when I am in the office, and within a day in any event (unless I am out of town).  Finally, you may always send me anonymous comments using the course feedback form on the class web site.
You are responsible for any material I distribute to the class via e-mail or on the class web site. I will post grades on the open board on an ongoing basis.
